Tri-State Chapter Receives Charter
 The
Tri-State Chapter received its Triangle charter on April 15, 1989. We are the only active
chapter to be initiated on Triangle's Founders Day - April 15th. An initiation ceremony was held in
the afternoon with help from members of the National Council.
Our advisor at the time, Larry Samuelson, was initiated as an associate member along
with three NuPi alumni - Vic Makximenko, Chris Grzebieniak, Scott Walter - and one AEPi alumnus,
Todd Walter. A reception was held at Zollner Clubhouse on the Tri-State campus in the evening.
